Mission and motive to create this new Organization

Here are the reasons for the formation of the Continental Hapkido Federation. Grand Master Robert Proo explains in this letter to his students and teachers the reasons that led to the creation of this international organization.

A TODOS MIS ESTUDIANTES Y ALUMNOS, así como a los Maestros e instructores de las hermanas organizaciones de Hapkido.

Por este medio, el que suscribe Grand Master Roberto Proo, Discípulo del S.G.M. KWANG SIK MYUNG, les envía su más cordial y caluroso saludo a todos y cada uno de ustedes.

Comparto esta reflexión causada por la inesperada muerte de mi Maestro por 28 años, el S.G.M. Kwang Sik Myung. Este triste hecho nos sorprendió y ocasionó semanas de introspección.

Ahora, pasado ese periodo de aceptación, expreso mi deseo de que cada uno de los que fuimos discípulos y alumnos de Grand Master Kwang Sik Myung, sigamos trasmitiendo ese legado que nos dejo. Mostrando toda esa enseñanza con la calidad, contundencia, humildad, perseverancia y HONOR, en cada clase, cada curso, cada seminario, cada demostración y exhibición, tal y como nos lo trasmitió en vida.

Los invito para seguir engrandeciendo el legado y la memoria de ese Gran Hombre, verdadero Gran Maestro y ser humano, que en vida nos enseño el sendero hacia la superación. Nos preparó para el camino a la evolución del arte marcial, con principios, humildad, fortaleza y sobre todo con amor al legado que recibió del padre del Hapkido el Great Grand Master Yong Sul Choi.

Debemos seguir alimentando esta semilla que derramó en nosotros el S.G.M. Kwang Sik Myung, fundador de la WORLD HAPKIDO FEDERATION, proveyendo excelentes frutos que sigan nutriendo a todo arte marcialista ávido de aprender, sentir, vivir e iluminar el arte marcial del milenio HAPKIDO.

Les reiteramos nuestro apoyo y la bienvenida a todo aquel que desee continuar con ese legado, que seguiremos trasmitiendo en la CONTINENTAL HAPKIDO FEDERATION, con sede en San Diego, California, U.S.A.

TO ALL MY STUDENTS AND PUPILS, and also to the teachers and instructors of the sisters Hapkido organizations.
By this means, the undersigned Grand Master Robert Proo, Disciple of the SGM KWANG SIK MYUNG, sends his most cordial and warm greetings to each and every one of you.
I share this reflection caused by the unexpected death of my Master for 28 years, the SGM Kwang Sik Myung. This sad fact surprised us and caused weeks of introspection.
Now, after this period of acceptance, I express my wish that every one of us who were disciples and students of Grand Master Kwang Sik Myung, should continue transmitting the legacy he left us: Showing all this education with quality, strength, humility, perseverance and HONOR, in every class, every course, every seminar, every demonstration and exhibition, such as he passed to us in life.
I invite you to continue enlarging the legacy and memory of this great man, a true Grand Master and human, who in life taught us the path to improvement. He prepared us for the journey to the evolution of the martial art, with principles, humility, strength, and above all, with love for the legacy he received from the father of Hapkido, the Great Grand Master Yong Sul Choi.
We are supposed to continue cultivating this seed showered on us by the SGM Kwang Sik Myung, founder of the World Hapkido Federation, providing excellent fruits that will continue nurturing any martial artist eager to learn, feel, live and illuminate the martial art of the millennium, Hapkido.
We reiterate our support and welcome anyone who wishes to continue this legacy, that we will continue transmitting in the Continental Hapkido Federation, based in San Diego, California, USA.

AN ALLE MEINE STUDENTEN UN SCHüLER und die Meister und Instrukteure der Hapkido Schwesterorganisationen.
Hiermit übersendet der Unterzeichnende, Grand Master Robert Proo, Schüler des SGM Kwang Sik Myung, seine herzlichsten und wärmsten Grüße an jeden einzelnen von Ihnen.
Ich teile diese Reflexion, verursacht durch den unerwarteten Tod meines Meisters seit 28 Jahren, SGM Kwang Sik Myung. Diese traurige Tatsache hat uns überrascht und löste Wochen der Introspektion aus.
Jetzt, nach dieser Zeit der Annahme, drücke ich mein Wunsch aus, dass alle, die wir Schüler und Studenten des Großmeisters Kwang Sik Myung waren, auch künftig das Erbe, das er uns hinterlassen hat, weiter zu geben: demonstrieren wir die Gesamtheit diesen Lehrgebäudes mit Qualität, Eindringlichkeit, Demut, Ausdauer und Ehre, in jedem Unterricht, jedem Kurs, jedem Seminar, jeder Darstellung und Vorführung, so wie er es uns im Leben lehrte.
Ich lade Sie ein, weiterhin das Erbes und Andenken an diesen großen Mann zu würdigen und verstärken. Kwang Sik Myung, ein echter Großmeister und Mensch, der uns im Leben den Pfad zur Mesisterschaft lehrte. Er rüstete uns für den Weg zur Entfaltung der Kampfkunst, mit Grundsätzen, Demut, Stärke und vor allem, mit Liebe zum Erbe, das er vom Vater des Hapkido, Groß-Großmeister Yong Sul Choi, empfing.
Wir müssen fortfahren, diesen Samen zu kultivieren, den SGM Kwang Sik Myung, Gründer der World Hapkido Federation, über uns verströmte, damit wir auch künftig die ausgezeichneten Früchte ernten können, die all die Kampfkünstler nähren werden, die begierig die Kampfkunst des Jahrtausends, Hapkido, erlernen, genießen, leben und erleuchten möchten.
Wir bekräftigen nochmals unsere Unterstützung und begrüssen jeden, der dieses Erbe fortführen möchte, das wir in der CONTINENTAL HAPKIDO FEDERATION, mit Sitz in San Diego, Kalifornien, USA , weiterhin lehren.

Convido-vos a continuar a alargar o legado e a memória deste grande homem, um verdadeiro Grão-Mestre e ser humano, que na vida nos ensinou o caminho para a superação. Estamos preparados para o caminho para a evolução da arte marcial, com os princípios, a humildade, força e especialmente com amor ao legado que recebeu do pai de Hapkido, o Grande, Grand Master Choi Yong Sul.

Temos de continuar alimentando essa semente que derramou sobre nós o S.G.M. Myung Kwang Sik, fundador da Federação Mundial de Hapkido (WORLD HAPKIDO FEDERATION), proporcionando bons resultados para continuar alimentando qualquer artista marcial ansiosos para aprender, sentir, viver e iluminar o Hapkido, a arte marcial do milênio.

Reiteramos o nosso apoio e congratulo-me com quem quer continuar esse legado, continuaremos transmitindo na CONTINENTAL HAPKIDO FEDERATION, com sede em San Diego, Califórnia, E.U.A.
